Chinese tire producer Venom Power has its experience squarely focused on value, quality, performance, and unique sizes. Over the years, this Chinese tire producer has developed a reputation for itself in the global automotive aftermarket by manufacturing tires people really need rather than ones we think they do. Venom Power Terra Hunter X/T is the tire we have chosen to compare today.
On the other side of the spectrum is RBP Tires, a company founded in 2011. From the beginning, its goal has been to supply 4x4 trucks with robust, long-lasting tires for off-road applications. The Venom Power Terra Hunter R/T helps bigger vehicles like SUVs, Jeeps, and light trucks to obtain traction and provide great performance on off-road conditions. When to use each
Most all-terrain and mud-terrain tires are infamous for being noisy, but the same is not always true of rugged-terrain tires. While a closed center tread pattern with a tight-knit center patch, in addition to an advanced tread pattern and pitch variation decreases noise on the Venom Power tire, a unique upper sidewall design makes the RBP quieter. On the whole, mud-terrain tires are widely regarded as the noisiest among all three types of tires.
Neither the Terra Hunter R/T nor the Repulsor X/T RX showcases Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification, which means they cannot be used in severe snow conditions. However, if you intend to use tires for better comfort over a long period, you can consider an additional set of all-season tires.
Which one should you choose?
