SimpleTire’s view on Venom Power Terra Hunter X/T tires

Chinese tire brands appear to be on a growth spree all over the world, and Venom Power seems to indicate the reason. However, the growth stoyy is not without reasons- Terra Hunter X/T offers tremendous traction and toughness for all-terrain vehicles. Buyers are happy with the ruggedness and the 50,000 mile warranty offered with this tire. You cannot use them for heavy snow as these are not Three Peak Mountain Snowflakes Certified, but dry and wet traction more than make up for it. Mud and stone ejectors within the shoulder lugs prevent stones and mud from accumalation. This is the tire that shall take you safely from a busy boardroom to a remote mountainous weekend and back home.

I can't say anything for winter traction because it's still summertime and I can't say as far as tread ware yet because I only have 4000 miles. However, they are not nearly as loud as I thought they would be and they handle great on dry and exceptional on wet pavement. So far I've had phenomenal traction but I will say they do like to throw rocks. I will definitely buy these again

These tires slip on wet pavement very easily. They can be difficult to balance and will require balances every 2-3 weeks as the tires wear down and change. They are a cheap tire for a reason. They shake the truck at 70mph+ If you intend on pulling a trailer DO NOT BUY!! These things are terrible even with a 6x12 utility trailer. Cannot go above 60mph. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a nicer set of tires.

I was skeptical about these tires when they first hit the market. A lot of people complained that they wouldn't balance out. I have 33 12.50 22 so these tires are heavy. A tuner to calibrate wheels size fixed that. I've put 57k on there tires and they still got the sty's on them. I can't wait to try the R/T's

The absolute worst road noise tire I've ever experienced.. I have an almost brand new set of 4 that I'll sell you way cheaper than what they are selling for here.
