I live in Northern Wyoming. Well almost 1k miles so far, about 700 on snow and ice. I chose these tires account I wanted something that could handle the weather, especially snow and ice. They perform way better than I expected. I was in Deadwood SD on New year's it snowed 5" and I had no problem getting around, I even went over to Mt Rushmore without any troubles. I-90 is usually terrible when snow hits, it drifts, ice patches, and black ice. They were handled freaking awesome! Came home over Powder River pass which was snow covered. And just recently where I live, we just received 8 " snow. Highly recommend, definitely would buy again.
Took a trip to Deadwood, South Dakota over New Year's. It snowed about 6 to 8 inches between the snow, the ice, the slush they performed really well on the interstate. No problems in town, slush and snow great traction performed as expected. And then. Some. I would highly recommend these for any s.U.V or all wheel drive vehicle.
Used for 5 month since April 2024 and have no complains. Grips well in dry to wet condition. No loss of traction during heavy rain storms. Road noise is negligible; factor like you car condition, tire balance, wheel alignment, proper inflation and road condition can all have an affect. No option on winter (snow and ice) conditions as I swap to a dedicated winter tire during those months.
I bought these tires for my wife's Chrysler Pacifica AWD. We haven't gotten any snow yet, but they're super quite on dry pavement and are fantastic in heavy rain...you can barely tell there's water on the road. She's only driven about 1,xxx miles so far, but tread wear also seems very good. These tires are definitely worth the extra cost!
1) Get a GOOD alignment done. NO, stealerships and "discount tire" type shops DON'T count. Find someone that primarily does alignment. 2) Buy these tires at a really good price for a highest rated tire, pray the $100 rebate submission works. 3) Enjoy the incredible ride comfort and handling until we get weather, hope to be impressed. 4) At $50 per tire less than GY Crosscontact with more durable tread pattern, designed by Pirelli, no stranger to high performance on and off road performance it's a no brainer. 5) Simpletire's included 3 year free road hazard warranty, most shops charge $20-$40 per tire. Again, no brainer. Overall EXTREMELY pleased with my buying experience. Will highly recommend and buy again.
These tires are great! I switched out of the OEM tires that came on this and just passed 11k miles. My remaining tread is 10/32" Front and 9/32" Rear. Great handling, performance, and quiet.
