These tires are amazing. My first set were Cooper Evolution A/S and I really enjoyed them. No range penalty and they were quiet day 1. However, they got louder as they wore. The Nokian WR G4 SUV tires I got to replace them exceed the Coopers in performance! The car feels like it is on rails! I've driven on them below freezing and once they are warmed up they perform as expected, and are predictable when cold. Ride is comfortable. Noise is about what I expected from an all weather tire. Not loud, but you can hear them, thanks to the lack of IC engine, so I gave them a 4. Also, no apparent range penalty as Whr/mi has not changed day to day. I'm hoping they hold up as long as the Coopers did, and if so, I'll buy them again! Having a 3PMS tire in the Pacific Northwest is a must if you go up to elevation, and these give me confidence!

Installed these WRG4's on my 2023 Tesla Model X LR as my winter setup. Running them on the OEM staggered wheel setup in 265/45/20 and 275/45/20 sizes. Initial impression was they were LOUD compared to the OEM Conti. LX Sport tires, but after about 1,000 miles now they seem to be breaking in and a bit quieter. Ride quality seem to be about the same as the Conti's. Sometime they (WRG4's) get a crazy drone noise that really hums through the cabin which is unfortunate, becuase in my now limited trials on snow/ice they seem to be quite good and similar efficiency when properly inflated and aligned. Time will tell, but overall I will only be running these Nov. through Feb. here in NJ.
The tires were on or 2011 MB ML350 for approx 5 months before the truck was sold. That was thru the summer months so I never drove them in the snow. We did however put about 5000 miles on them driving the interstate. They performed here as expected - excellent in heavy rain, very good on dry days, and of course a bit louder than a good all season tire. They seemed to wear even all around and wear down just a bit quicker than a typical all season compounded tire. I don't drive hard but I doubt they would have made it 60K miles on our truck. That said, I selected them for the comfort and true all season capabilities and for those aspects I liked them.

Ride comfort, road noise and handling are all excellent. Would buy these tires again. Simple tire makes it easy to get new tires.
This is the second time purchasing these tires. I had something else on in between and going back to these. Great in the snow and winter roads.
The Nokian W4s are great multi-surface tires. Dry, wet, gentle snow, it doesn't seem to matter. While they might not be super quiet, this is a small price to pay for the excellent multi-surface traction. If I need snow and ice tires, I switch out to my Nokian Hakkipelitta 10s. ?

Nice aggressive tread but not too noisy.
