Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9 SUV Reviews

I inherited a pair of brand new Nokian Hakkapelitas from my father, he's an extraordinary driver with decades of racing experience and recommended this brand. I tried these on an Audi Quattro: terrible, sliding off snowy corners at traffic speed while all other traffic was flowing smoothly. Same terrible performance with another set on an AllRoad Mercedes. And today I had difficulty entering my garage in 3" of fresh snow on a 5% slope with a brand new set of Nokian Hakkapelitta 9 SUV tyres. Blizzaks and or Michelins are incomparably better tyres - I can't imagine anything worse. Honestly, my three year old summer tyres were nearly as good, and I am utterly stumped how Nokian even manages to sell winter tyres ? AVOID!!!

Love these tires, loud on road but I turn up the music. Well worth the investment.

ONE WORD INCREDIBLE!! The only Tire to buy period - I have tried them all - I have a fleet of vehicles Blizzacks are ok for 10k miles then like a regular tire - useless

Great snow tires! I put a set on a Jeep Wrangler, a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a GMC Denali. Without a doubt the best snow tires available! With the studs, many studs, they are noisy on the road, a small price to pay for safety. I don't know the tread life the Hakk 9 yet but a set of Hakk 8 on the Grand Cherokee lasted 2 seasons and started a third on mixed gravel and pavement, 70 mile daily round trip to work.

Very aggressive, very noisy, but I expected that. Don't buy studded snows if you want "Quiet" . After purchasing this tire, I will now always ONLY buy this tire!

By far the most aggressive studded tires with phenomenal traction, will definitely purchase another set when these wear out. Girl GTA especially me confidence and peace of mind that my wife will make it to and from her daily commute.
