Great tires. Good price. I drive a Toyota Tacoma and the tires look great on it. Here in Texas the A/T is perfect for my driving.
Former ASE certified tech. These tires are great for the price. Even wear all around as long as you take care of them. Obviously aggressive tread isn't as good in the rain. I do need to balance them more often but that could be because of the wheels and not the tires themselves.
These tires have been great, and I would buy them again. I have put 40k miles on them with my Tacoma 4x4 and I used them mostly in deep sugar sand, and these tires just wont stop, dont even need to deflate them.
2000 Nissan Xterra 4x4. I just purchased these from SimpleTire.com. They arrived 3 days ahead of schedule! The installer I choose had gone out of business (unknown to myself and SimpleTire). They found me a new installer and took care of everything on their end, no hassle no fuss. The tires themselves are great! I have only driven about 500 miles on them but they are relatively quite on pavement and carry the truck over sand and through mud as deep as my frame will allow. Very impressed with the price ($500 installed)!!
The 245/70-16 size is NOT 3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake rated! That's some false advertising. 3PMSF tires meet certain legal standards in parts of the Rock Mountain states as a substitute for chains - but these legally don't measure up. I wouldn't have bought these had I known that. The winter traction is disappointing for an A/T type tire. I guess you get what you pay for... Will not buy again.
I was looking for a set of tires for my Saturn VUE. I wanted an off-road capable tire but still had highway comfort. When I found these, I liked the look but was thinking they'd be loud because of the deep tread pattern, but they are quiet. They ride smoothly and I really couldn't be happier with them. I am excited to see how they perform in snow. But so far they have been played with in the mud, tall grass and pavement. I've put a little over 1000 miles on them and they don't show any signs of wear, so I expect them to last quite a while.
