We purchased a set of 245 60 15 for the front of out '66 Belair. (Drop down vehicle list does not allow for such an old car) Replaced a set of BFGs which were dangerous in the wet. For a relatively unknown tire, Milestar provides an honest smooth running tire with great tread wear, good balancing with little weight and great in the wet, especially in the front where we need it on a 4000lb sedan. They look great with the checkered flag on the side wall. Excellent delivery and great service from Simple Tire as usual. Free shipping to Ogdensburg as we are in Canada. Just a 35 min drive from Ottawa makes for easy pick up. Once Covid is under control in the USA, hope to be able to purchase again for our daily driver.

Taiwan-based Nankang Rubber Tire Corp. manufactures tires for the Milestar brand along with other brands. Milestar Tires have a wide range of tires in its portfolio which includes passenger cars, light trucks, commercial medium radial truck applications, high-performance, and ultra-high-performance.

The Milestar Streetsteel tire also offers the same along with its classic styling, angled siping, notched center rib, angled shoulder pattern, steel-belted construction, and circumferential grooves. The race-inspired checkered flag sidewall design looks pleasing to the eye and makes you remember the good old days of classic cars. The Milestar tire offers modern technology with the classic appearance of the past. Backed by a strong tread life warranty of 40,000 miles, it is ideal for classic cars, muscle cars, street rods, and hot rods. Available in a single size of 15 inches, the Streetsteel tires come with S & T-speed rated performance. Let’s delve deeper into the Milestar Streetsteel tire review to understand how it’s able to achieve the performance it promises.
Features and Benefits
All-season tires are built to offer excellent grip and traction in dry and wet conditions. Their rubber construction can withstand changing weather conditions to a great extent. The Milestar Streetsteel comes with a stylish all-season tread that delivers excellent year-round performance.
- Eye-catching looks – Designed to give cars a classic look, the Streetsteel comes with a classic sidewall featuring checkered flag and solid raised white lettering. The smartly carved angled shoulder and siping further accentuate its style statement.
- Solid traction – A perfect example of form and function, the Milestar tire not only looks great, but it also delivers solid traction and grip on dry and wet surfaces from its angled sipings, notched center rib, shoulder blocks, and circumferential grooves. The voids and grooves quickly remove water to lend superior traction and grip under wet conditions.
- Long-lasting tread – The symmetric tread pattern with a strong center rib promotes even wear and enhanced stability. The angled shoulder blocks improve cornering and resist uneven wearing of the tread, and a steel belted construction improves the durability and longevity of the tread as it wears in a controlled manner. Additionally, the special silica compound adds extra durability and resistance to unnatural wearing.

SimpleTire’s view on Milestar Streetsteel tires
The Milestar Streetsteel is a great option for the price it asks (starts around $114). A rare combination of modern tech and classic styling, the Streetsteel has a handful of competitors but its lucrative pricing puts the ball in its court.
Although it has no direct contest in its price range, it rivals the likes of Eldorado Wild Spirit Sport H/T, Fortune FSR305, and Haida HD737 based on similar tire sizes.
Vehicles the Milestar Streetsteel is a good replacement tire for
The Milestar Streetsteel is a good replacement tire option for a range of hot rods, classic cars, muscle cars, and light trucks such as Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet C10 pickup, and more.

Purchased the 275 60 15 for our 66 Belair. Great tire for our hotrod. Quiet ride. Smooth on the highway. Wearing well. And you can't beat the price compared to other name brands.
Smooth running Great looking.
Great service. Tires look great on my hot rod ...
Using this milestar tire on the front of my '66 Belair with a 275 on the rear. Smooth quiet ride. Good in the wet and less expensive than others.
For the price these have been great tires so far. I have them on a 1962 Chevy C10 Pickup. This size is in the front and 255 on the rear. Smooth riding and hardly any road noise except for the truck. Worth the money for great product.
