Continental HTL2 Eco Plus

I have a set of 215 75R 17.5 tires on my 5th wheel trailer. I believe they are one if not the absolute best and safest tire available for a heavy (18,000 lb) trailer. I'd like to know what other people think of the trailer tires for a heavy trailer. I believe they are worth the investment. My question is: How long do they last? When should I replace them? 5 years, 7 years? Thank you

I own my own business hauling cars. I have a Kaufman Mini 5 trailer. The first set of 6 tires lasted 105,000 miles currently on the second set and absolutely love them. Won't catch me with anything else on my trailer.

We are extremely satisfied with these tires. They have excellent traction in mud and on wet surfaces. They handle great and my wife likes them because they don't make that howling noise. We cannot testify to the tread life or longevity of the tire yet as we just purchased them in March 18 but as of now no signs of any wear at all. They look really good and we have had several compliments on them. Simpletire is the best to work with, they will go out of their way to help you. Delivery was fast and was exactly when they said it would be. Because of that : We also made another purchase of four 18 ply other tires from them. We will definitely use them again for further purchases.

Absolutely love these tires on my second set of 6. I have a 5 car trailer and over the past year I put over 100,000 on the trailer tires. Wouldn't dare yes another brand.

These are good tires, bought 2 sets of 4, through last few years. Simple tire is easy to order from and quick to ship. I I had one arrive with damage and the return was just as easy with freight paid by them. Customer service is always great. Great place to buy from.
