SimpleTire’s view on Americus AP2000 tires

When it comes to all-position tires for regional and line haul applications, there are a lot of choices out there. The Americus AP2000 is a tire that can provide excellent service for owner-operators or fleets, with dependable traction year-round and a casing that’s damage-resistant and durable. Its system of sipes, grooves, and tread blocks is designed for good water dispersal, routing water, and slush behind the tire’s contact patch to resist hydroplaning and helping to ensure dependable year-round service.

As with non-commercial tires, low rolling resistance is a priority with the Americus AP2000, and it delivers reduced emissions and lower fuel consumption by cutting the amount of friction involved in getting a vehicle rolling and headed down the road. If you’ve got a fleet of vehicles that you rely on for service and revenue daily (or if you have a Class A RV), the Americus AP2000 is an excellent choice in an all-position medium/heavy truck tire

Vehicles the Americus AP2000 is a good replacement tire for

While this tire is not featured as OEM on any vehicles, these would all be good applications for the Americus AP2000:

    • Box trucks
    • Local or regional P&D trucks
    • Refrigerator trucks
    • Tankers
    • Dump trucks
    • Line haul tractor-trailers
    • Regional or line-haul commercial buses

This is my second purchase. I purchased a set for the rear of a RAM5500. So far I've accumulated about 5k miles and everything looks good. I'm on average hauling 20k lbs a day sometimes more. I feel like for the price they are a bargain. I've recently installed a set on the front. Maybe 500 miles so far. But the handling is stable and control feels good with the amount of weight we are hauling. Definitely recommend. I do not know about snow conditions but I'm leaving 5 stars

Just installed the tires, they look great, haven't driving them on wet roads yet but dry roads handle like it should.
